Hi, Does anyone have any idea why although the blower fan is working fine when we push the slider over to hot air we still only get cold air. The cooling system seems to be working fine - i.e engine temp is normal and the thermostat seems to be working properly and the various pipes get hot. Any one explain how the hot air systems should work and what I could check ? Thanks

VW Passat 2.0 CL Automatic when I get to a certain rev the transmission seems to slip and makes a noise. I think this is during a gear change. Haynes manual says this could be down to the fluid level and/or condition of fluid. I have a type 096 gearbox with a dipstick.
