My engine (2002 Passat 1.8 Turbo manual with 96k miles) light has recently come on. Hooking the car up to VAG-COM 409 indicates a fault with the coolant temperature sensor. Can someone please tell me where about I can find it in the engine and how hard is to replace ? Thanks, Sukhi

I have been running my car on unleaded, however it can be run on superunleaded, now I know it's more expensive, though i'm fantasy bargaining that there may be an increase in performance dictating the need to use less thorottle and hence more mpg. Can anyone tell me where I can get door seals for my Mk2 Golf? Have looked on GSF, but no luck. Clearly this type of thing needs to be new. I'm not going to fit old rubber. Are they painful to fit?

Is it possible that the driver's door on my Mk2 Golf has dropped? Sometimes when I close it, it needs a second effort, staying about half a cm from closed. I assumed that this was the seal which is not in a good way, but now I'm wondering if it's not the seal, as I don't think a seal has enough resistance to stop it closing - it just gets crushed.
