On my 1999 mk4 golf tdi, the windscreen wipers have suddenly got so slow, that they are hardly able to return to the 'home' position when wiping! I'm hoping that the mechanism might just need greasing underneath the scuttle panel at the base of the windscreen? Does anyone know if this is possible to get at? All the interior lights have stopped working on my 98 Passat (whether by switch, door opening or whatever). I've checked the fuse (which is fine) - not sure where to look next. The only other thing wrong with the car is that some of the door locks no longer activate the central locking, and that one door won't respond to the central locking. Hi I got a problem with my Mk 2 Golf Driver (auto). The temp guage has never seemed to work - occasionally I get a small bit of movement but nothing to get excited about. 1998 Passat Estate The alarm is going off for no reason. I got a code reader and its saying there is a fault with the temp sensor. could this be sitting the alarm off??? also where is this temp sensor? many thanks martin
