I lose about half pint of water every 50 miles. It's definitely not getting into the oil (no milky froth) and I can see no leaks either when it's idling standing still or with the engine off. There is though a small amount of water exiting from the exhaust pipe. I'm not sure if this isnt condensation though. I've just relaced the head gasket and wound the bolts down as per the specified torque....

Passat 1.8 T auto 2002 46K Out this morning from cold no problem. Parked after 10 miles for about 20 mins, when I restarted it seemed to be missing and shaking, seemed to clear when rev'd. Thought about coils. (replaced less than 12 months ago.) disconnected each one in turn, each one seemed to have the same effect. Then the problem seemed to clear.

Anyone know an easy way to change the spark plugs on an 02 Golf 1.6 8valve, they are hidden behind the inlet manifold and look impossible to remove unless its removed! Any help appreciated.
