I have purchased a trunk(boot) release button and trunk lock with a microswitch from the states. I have the connectors for both but I don't have any wires. All I am thinking about opting out of my company car scheme, taking the cash and buying a late Mark IV gti, my current and previous company cars were mark IV's (tdi and 1.6match).....both of which were/are great for me in terms of size/reliability etc Of course staying in the scheme and getting a new mark V GTi is an option but will cost £££s in terms of tax.

My Mk2 Golf 1.6 litre 1990. I am in the process of renewing the distributor cap, but one of the connectors into the distributor cap has broken and left its metal terminal on the metal terminal pin in the old distributor cap. I just need one new HT lead. Then I can go ahead with fitting the new distributor cap.
