Having problems with the immobiliser on a Mk 4 Golf. When I put the ignition key in it doesn't always turn off the immobiliser so you can't start the engine. On my mk4 golf 1.6 petrol 99 the ABS light has come on today. I had the fault code read and it says 00285 "ABS wheel speed sensor front right" I guess the sensory needs changing. I had a poke around it today and no wires were broken, connector was on tight. Also ready a weak battery can cause it to come on mines, fine, also ABS fuses seems fine.
