Hi, Last night the first two settings on the fan became faulty and only the highest setting (3) pushes air through. Thinking about it I reckon that the first setting failed sometime shortly after I bought it about 5 months ago, but at the time I thought that it was just a weak setting so didn't pay much attention! If you go to VW these days you will find that they only stock antifreeze called G12 PLUS. This is new stuff and mixes with G12 and G11. I've used it with no problems mixed with G11. Took my Golf vr6 on a 200 mile trip today and was amazed to see it returning nearly 36mpg. Took it steadily around 70-80. Excellant for an engine this size, when I use the wifes 1100 Punto I struggle to get 36mpg as you have to work it so hard. Anyone ever had the patience to go on an economy week with theirs to see what it'll do ? I normally get around 28mpg.

Hi, I have a 98 TDI 110 engine, which wont start, but turns over. The glow plug light doesn't come on in the instrument cluster, the glow plug relay doesn't close. All the glow plugs seem good, the 80amp fuse is good, the signal doesn't come from the the ECU to activate the glow plug relay.
