retro fit remote locking on Passat by Michael Mc
All - I have a 99 Passat (v) with central locking and the "comfort function" on the key (with an legthened turn of the key the windows open/close). I have bought a Cobra central locking interface that supports this function too. I wondered if anyone had any tips on fitting, or if anyone knew if it's a negative pulse system or a positive pulse system? Many thanks all Michael

Fire - Update by doddy
My mate's Polo went on fire a few weeks ago. (Thread on here titled 'Fire!') VW admitted fault and are paying for all repairs - £2K parts, including a new loom from the factory. Apparently the fire was caused by the heater motor seizing.
