How safe is it to have seats in the boot like that ?

....just thinking of some idiot running into the back of you, the boot
can be a little exposed.

I`m curious about this as well - there doesn`t seem to be a lot of space
between where the feet of the passengers would be and the outside of the
car. I think I`d be looking at trading my car in for something designed to
carry 7 people, it just doesn`t look safe to me :-(

Most of the smaller 7-seat MPVs are no better.

Thats a matter of opinion

But at least well on the most part your not facing the boot window watching
some bumper lover try to make love to your bumper.

to op: I think this idea is a bit dodgy to say the least. Save the money,
sell the vehicle and buy a MPV any of the usual suspects should fit the bill
like the Zafira, renault scenic, xsara picaso, vw sharan etc etc. If you do
have a look on parkers.co.uk has some helpful reviews.
