Default MK1 Golf Ignition Auxiliary position?

Does anyone know if the MK1 Golf (1983 Driver model) has an auxiliary
position on the ignition switch?

If so, do you know where power from this can be picked up for powering a
radio (and wire colour).

Thanks

IIRC there isn't really one in the way there is in most cars - ie, a
specific wire for it. I think you can nick a feed from the fag lighter or
dash lights (or anything else that goes live with the ignition) with a
relay, but your best bet is to search on the clubgti.com forums where this
has undoubtedly been gone over in triplicate.

No. Usally the radio gets power from the sig. lighter.
