Default 1997 caravelle servicing in south wales

Hi

Looking for any recommendations for a good place to get my caravelle
serviced within about 50 miles of Bridgend in south wales.

Not sure if it is true but been told that the 2.4 diesels are not easy
to work on.

Not bothered about it being an official vw dealer as long as they are
good and reliable and do what they are meant to.

They are a piece of **** to work on or service. Access is easy with the
undertray removed, and being a T4 you don't even have to jack it up because
there's loads of clearance underneath. The only messy bit is removing the
large oil filter (from underneath, and it's high up on the back of the
engine). Oil/Air/Fuel/Pollen filters from Eurocarparts or GSF, 2x5L
containers of Halfords fully synthetic, plus new (VW approved) coolant if
it's due.
