Hi
Looking for any recommendations for a good place to get my caravelle serviced within about 50 miles of Bridgend in south wales. Not sure if it is true but been told that the 2.4 diesels are not easy to work on. Not bothered about it being an official vw dealer as long as they are good and reliable and do what they are meant to. Thanks Keith -- Keith Barrett www.barrettpianos.co.uk |

Access is easy with the undertray removed, and being a T4 you don't even have to jack it up because there's loads of clearance underneath. The only messy bit is removing the large oil filter (from underneath, and it's high up on the back of the engine). Oil/Air/Fuel/Pollen filters from Eurocarparts or GSF, 2x5L containers of Halfords fully synthetic, plus new (VW approved) coolant if it's due. If you want someone to do it, see the T4 Forum: http://vwt4.forumsplace.com/index.ph...848c680572b3f2 JB |
