I posted earlier about getting a Golf with a broken engine mount which
I have decided to not get! I've seen another cheap GTI MK IV which has some sort of electrical problem: Passenger door's central locking, electric window, electric mirror and even the red light on the door doesn't work. Anyone idea's what could be wrong with this car? Is this another one to avoid? |

Anyone idea's what could be wrong with this car? Is this another one to avoid? Must be a break in the wires to the door. Check the rubber boot where the wires feed from the car to the door. Even if you fix this, chances are the door lock module will be goosed anyway! If you do buy this and strip the door to investigate, I would replace the plastic window regulator clips with the new and improved metal ones before your windows drops into the door! |
