Why do people put this? Why not just list whatever they have found,

For the same reason that if you give a man food, he can eat for 1 day;
teach him to fish and he can feed himself.

Besides, Google for almost anything & it will turn up lots of pages -
who (other than the OP) knows which is relevant?

Alternatively:- Build a man a fire and you can keep him warm for a finite
period but set him on fire and you can keep him warm for the rest of his
life.

This is about as sensible (and meaningful) as your reply.

The originator has asked a question. Perhaps he has already looked, and
failed to find a reply, perhaps................................anything.

He is looking for some sensible answer, not rubbish, as per your reply, or
indeed this one!
