My Polo 2004 starts to lights one yellow led.. maybe it says I have to
change the oil.

Excuse me, how can I remove this alert by my own?

Is it the orange light with an engine symbol?

If so, you need to get the stored fault codes read with VAG-COM, a VW
Dealer tool, or an ODB-II reader.

It seems yellow to be honest.. I've already done the first control
(30000 km) and now my car has about 45000 km.. I don't need what it
need again.. maybe only the oil change..

Sorry, could you explain in other words? Maybe have I to go to my car
buyer to fix my machine?

Someone told me you can remove this aler turning the key and at the
same time pushing when you use to reset the partial km..

No, the oil change/service indicator says 'OEL' or 'Service Due', or at
least does on most post 1996 VW's I've seen. Bear in mind though that I
have never driven a 2004 Polo, and that I only know a limited range of
UK-model cars. Do you have a manual?

Does the light have an engine symbol in it? If so, it's a CEL (check
engine light)- which indicates an engine management problem, maybe
emissions.

If you know someone with VAG-COM (http://www.ross-tech.com), which is a
PC software package, an ODB reader, or fancy a visit to the VW dealer
and pay them to use their computer on it, one of those devices will read
the engine control unit for stored fault codes, which should *help* tell
you or the person using it what is wrong.

No, that's close to the procedure to reset the service indicator though,
unless I'm wrong about the light.
