My 1999 Mk4 Golf has an instrument panel light, just under the 20mph
mark on the dial out. Does anyone know if it's a bulb that can be changed or is the whole unit sealed with LED type lights. If it's changeable, how easy? |

Not sure about what kind of light is behind it, but I believe it can be replaced from memory. But you have theres a lot of muckin about with the dash removal first I think on a mk4 although I am not 100% on this. |

I am 99% certain the cluster can be removed in isolation. |

I think, if you remove the upper steering cowl you will find 2 torx screws at either edge of the cluster, remove these then pull the unit out, taking care to remove the connector blocks from the back. |
