Get a solar powered trickle charger, which plugs in to the cigarette lighter. Since you can't push start an automatic, a good starting system is vital. Tod Yeah - right! If it is working OK - you DONT need one of those stupid things Funny story... Some years ago the neighbour of a friend of mine couldn't start his car one frosty morning. As he was trying it, another neighbour, a young woman, asked if she could help. Thinking about the problem they decided that he would put a blanket over the back bumper and that she would use her car to push start him. Good idea! He went on to tell her that his car was an automatic and that she would therefore need to be doing 25 mph or so in order to get it going. She went to her car, drove up the road to turn round and then came beetling back towards him at high speed, crashing into his car. After the dust had settled and the ambulances had left she told him it was his fault, he had said "at more than 25 to get it started". Bill |
