Default 1998 Jetta TDI diagrams or ideas

1998 Jetta TDI, no start, no MIL, no glow indicator, replaced relay 109
(carry a spare), ECU load reduction relay. Bentley diagrams are not
representative of what I have found in the car for wiring/relays.
Does anybody have any alternative diagrams?
How about knowledge of how the ECU is powered, i.e: does it get a
trigger directly from the ignition switch or does it get triggered off
the key on relay fed bus in the fuse block? TIA
