Have just purchased a golf gt tdi with sat nav. Salesman has told me that
the disk and manual couldn't be ordered until I purchased the car - he
borrowed a cd from another branch and says he will send mine when he
receives it to them instead of giving me the new disk. 2 weeks down the
line I still don't have the manual - he said they are on back order. Their
catalogue says that the sat nav covers 25 european countries - the disk he
has given me just says uk and ireland. Question - is the whole of europe on
the one disk or should the system have come with a pack of disks - I feel
something strange is going on here.

Problem is; all a salesman wants to do is sell cars. He'll say whatever
he thinks you want to hear.

I've found that the motor trade is by far the worst industry for this.
