Hi,
I know this is probably a bit basic but my drivers side rear window on my Mk3 Golf Estate, 1997 won't open. I've checked the fuses and they seem to be ok Is there something else I need to check? Sorry for such a basic question. Also, where can I get a replacement aerial, cheaply, some toe rag ripped it off the other night Thanks in advance Spence |

Push ariel down when finished with it??? I keep mine down all the time and
just use CD/MP3. Cheapest is scrap dealer or GSF. Replacement motor for window then maybe? £25 from scrappy. |

On my mk.2 I checked them for electrical continuity and they were fine, replaced the motor - but it was the switch - a flush with wd40 sorted it. : Sorry for such a basic question. : : Also, where can I get a replacement aerial, cheaply, some toe rag ripped it : off the other night : Beyond scrap yard - not sure I'm afraid. Check for power along the circuit, are you getting power at the motor? Does it work from either switch? If it works from one and not the other, then definately the switch, if neither works check you are getting power into the door. If you've got power to the motor then suspect motor or bad earth -- Jon Remove "usenetspam" from address above to reply |
