Does anyone know if VW are planning to put the 130 bhp diesel engine
in the Polo? They (or rather their subsidiaries) have put the same
engine in other smaller hatchbacks (130bhp diesel Skoda Fabia
ferkristsakes!), so are VW going to follow suit.

I've test-drove the Seat Ibiza, and the handling & performance were
very good, but there was just "something" lacking in the Ibiza that
the Polo had. If the Polo had the 130 bhp engine, it would be just
right for me.

There was supposed to be a GTi coming out next year that may have the TDi
engine. To be honest I'm rather disappointed in the latest polo I prefer both the
Ibiza and Fabia (though in different ways though it's hard to compare as I only test
drove one of each 100bhp petrol fabia, 100bhp Tdi polo and 130 TDi Ibiza)
