VW Polo
Hi,
I've had my Polo 1.9 PD TDi Sport for a couple of months now and am very happy with it indeed. Feels much bigger and more grown up than the Polo 1.6 16v GTi I had before. The 1.9 turbo diesel engine is a gem and doesn't honestly make me feel i've lost much performance from the GTi. The amount of torque is superb and makes overtaking very easy. I'm also averaging 50 to the gallon on my 40 mile roundtrip to work (mixed roads) - That's about 440 miles on a tank of diesel costing £29! Oh yes. I've had no problems with mine, although the dashboard has an annoying squeek which is apparently quite common on these. I suggest you check out http://www.tdiclub.com and http://www.pologti.com for more info. You'll find a good couple of OEM mods at pologti.com including a replacement top cubby box which is well worth it. Regards, Leon. "Kristof" wrote in message ...
