Reach your hand up and push at the hood...never lower the hood without doing
this as it puts extra strain on the motor... If this doesn't cure the problem and you wanna lower the hood manually loosen off the valve in the left hand side of the boot and just pull at the hood (gently)...don't miss out on the sun... -- Chaney Chaney's World http://www.chaney.i12.com/ Chaney's 1990 Golf Cabbie http://www.chaneysworld.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ "Tobi" wrote in message ... Hi Just as the sun is beating down the power hood on my 1992 Golf Rivage decides to stop working! As I went go to open it I can hear the usual whining of the motor but it just doesn't move. Can anyone give me some clues as to where the fault lies. Cheers Tobi |
