I've a Skoda with the 90tdi VW engine , simply service is ok, clutch
repaqlacemnt ok but further in to anything other than a cam belt cahnge
needs special electrinic VAG reader, engine speed idle adjust, pump
timing,etc

Has anyone got experience of any of these engines in a VW van (Type 4 in

Dont know where in the world you are, but don't you have an option for the
1.9TDI (110, 115, 130, 150)
I've the 110 and its great. They only get better
If money were not a problem, I'd snap up the 2.5TDI (150). Speak to taxi
drivers - they go on forever (the engines that it)!
