VW & Cryptologist Dr. Rex Curry expose swastika symbolism by

The Volkswagen logo exposes the swastika as intertwined "S" shapes
symbolizing "Socialism" for the monstrous National Socialist German Workers'
Party, and provides more proof in support of discoveries by the noted

Survey: How much gap between your front tyre and wing/fender? by
Spike
Hi,
Prob a stupid question as I know there will be a lot of variation.
I have empi8s with 195/65s on (x2 not driven on my car yet) which I am going
to put on the rear, and am just about to buy tyres for the front (currently
sitting on stock all round).
I'm unsure whether to buy another two 195s or go for 185s. I checked the
195 on the front wheels and they stick proud of the wing (fender)...

Agreed Valuation by
Kevan Gradwell
After a very tough lesson from the insurance industry about the market value
of my Golf Mk1 GTI (following a shunt in the rear) I have decided that I
urgently need to agree the value of my 1966 1300.
I have the forms from the insurer but I need to have them signed by one of
the following:
- Car Club Official
- Restorer
- Valuer

Convert LHD BJ front axle to RHD by
AshMan
I'm sorry of this topic has been brought up before, but I searched
Google groups for this and couldn't find any reference.
I have access to a CB Performance 2-inch narrowed LHD adjustable
ball-joint front axle in good shape, but my '75 Type 1 is a RHD
(1200LS).
I'm pretty sure the axle can be converted to fit a RHD by removing and
rewelding the steering damper mount to the opposite side. I'm...

Seat Return Spring by
Spike
Hi all,
I put the front seats back in my '68 type 1 today.
First time in about 5 years off the road!
The thing is I can't remember how the springs on the runners attach to the
seats.
Are they supposed to pull the seats forward or back? The only way I can see

Date of birth? by
Gareth Edwards
Hi
How can I find out the date that my bay window camper was built? I know it
was 1st registered in November 1972, but I am trying to buy new front discs
and pads for it and there are some that fit the camper built up to July
1972, and there is another type that fits campers built after July 1972.
I cannot find the production plate on my van, there is carpet all behind the
seats. Can I get...

Brighton Breeze 2006 photos by
Paul Silver
I've put some photos from the Brighton end of the Brighton Breeze 2006
run up on Flickr:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/paulsilver/sets/72157594305980404/
Lots of decent old VWs around. The nice thing about B' Breeze is it
brings out lots of daily drivers, so you get a nice mixture of ratty
through to fully restored beautiful cars.
Cheers

Confused in Canada by
Tim Dollimount
I recently bought a 1970 VW bus and on my first camping trip, she died about halfway there!
Luckily, my friend who was following me was willing to tow me the rest of the way with a tow rope (an experience in itself!) and we got it running at the campground by simply cleaning the points and under the distributer cap. All was well until we headed home and she started losing power, and eventually...

1976 Type 2 Transporter - J-tubes or heat exchangers? by
MatheoDJ@gmail.com
Hi all, long time dubber, first-time poster.
I'm looking for heat exchangers or J-tubes for my '76 bus, but I can't
find the tubes and the boxes are *way* expensive: like $500 a pair or
more new. Are there any other options? does anyone know where to find
the j-tubes?
Any help is *much* appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Third World London: Blind Iraqi caught driving car with banned driver by
landnotloans@hotmail.com
A blind Iraqi who lost his eyes in a bomb blast was caught driving a
car while receiving instructions on steering and braking from a banned
driver, a court heard today.
Omed Aziz, who denies dangerous driving, reached speeds of up to 35mph
on a half-mile route through Oldbury, West Midlands, in April.
Warley magistrates' court was told that Aziz - who also suffers from
leg tremors and is...

Danbury Bay Water Tank Location by
sweller
I've recently acquired a 1978 twin sliding door Danbury camper (a UK
converter); unfortunately it was broken into whilst it was stood and a
fair amount of the fittings were stolen.
Problem is I can't find the water tank!
Where does it live on this type of conversion?
