ETS: Where You Could Have Electric Car Conversion by patricialemker@gmail.com
If you feel like you already own the best vehicle there is available in the planet, but feel like you need to contribute to the environment to help and protect it especially since global warming is a growing problem of today, what you could do is have your car converted into an electric. Though it may sound funny or something that is impossible, well, brace yourself because now, more and more...

You've got to laugh.... by SteveH
VW tell me at 1pm my car won't be fixed today. By 3.30pm they've apparently fixed it and done a service. Obviously the oily rag service. I ordered and tried to cancel a hire car from Europcar to replace the Avis Fiat I had from the AA.... But Europcar have just dropped off a Zafira. A 1.6 petrol.

I can confirm... by Iridium
On a damp, greasy, cold road, the Vee doesn't grip as well as an R32 Skyline GTR. Also, said GTRs with some ~350bhp are quicker than the Vee. Conveniently, I was infront though and he couldn't get by, mwahaha :) Then he gave me big thumbs up at the roundabout when he got alongside as I was turning off hehe - turned out he was a guy that my mate works with heh. -- Dan Mk1 Clio V6

Door-card plastic lining. by conkersack@googlemail.com
Hello, I had to replace the window riser mechanism in my car today, and to get at the guts of the door, I had to hack through the plastic membrane thing behind the door card. What purpose does this serve - can I safely remove it? It has holes in it where the loudspeaker, door latch cable and lock button come through, so I assume it isn't any sort of vapour-proof barrier. I taped the thing back...

Fiat Bravo Min-Review by SteveH
I've found out what it is now. It's a Bravo 1.9 Multijet Dynamic. 5 door. Black, it is. First impressions: Front end looks a bit like a Quattroporte. If you squint a bit. Definitely Maserati influence in there. Interior is pretty usual small hatch stuff, keep fit windows in the back, but electric mirrors, air conditioning and one of the best OEM fit audio systems I've heard for a while.

Fabia 1.2 HTP mini review by Albert T Cone
Not too bad. Well, ok, with 64bhp, it isn't exactly sprightly, but happy enough on the motorway, as long as you don't want to go above 90mph. Ever. Oh, and overtaking is something of a spectator sport. Going above about 4krpm doesn't make you go any faster, and it sounds pretty rough up to that point, so frankly you'd be a lot better off with a diesel. 'HTP' apparently stands for 'High...
