Sticking mesh in... by
Iridium
My rear bumper is meant to have black mesh in the gaps. I've got some black
mesh here, what do I use to stick it in with? No More Nails?
Ideas?
Cheers :)

The Pleasure/Pain principle explained. by
Elder
The pleasure.
Alison was due to collect her Yaris 1.3 VVT-i today after work, dropping
off her faithless battered old 1.4 Skoda Fabia that still made £1k trade
in despite having masonary paint spattered bumpers, a scraped bumper, a
broken number plate, and a passenger rear door that didn't open.
Car paid for cash with the money from her company share save scheme
bonuses when the company...

OT: Holland by
Doki
It's supposed to be the most densely populated place in Europe. I don't
understand it at all. My experiences of Holland are that traffic flows
freely and you can walk around the shops and town without hundreds of mouth
breathing idiots getting in your way. It just doesn't feel anywhere near as
crowded as England does. WTF is the difference?

Fleet quandary - what to keep, what to sell... by
Timo Geusch
Right, I've been spending far too much time again in all the wrong
places like ebay, mainly looking for a runabout. And this is where it's
getting complicated.
Basically, I'm planning to do trackdays this year - the more the
merrier - but not in either of my RX-7s (the convertible is far too
nice and the FD is not exactly what you want as a novice, plus it'd
cost a bomb if I crash it). Oh, and...

OT: YouTube rocks by

Spent almost all afternoon on it today - using my media PC hooked up to
the big telly in the lounge and the sound playing through the hifi.
Found a load of old Dance Energy clips with Normski :-)

am i having a mad elder like moment? by
Vamp
i fancy a mini cooper s, they had a facelift in 2004 which had improved trim
and they gave them a whole 7bhp on top too. now these are a bit pricey still
AND it would mean taking more finance out too.
anyways while browsing mini type stuff i spotted a green old shape mini
cooper locally on a R plate (1998 i think) and it looked tidy. now i'm not
one for sensible but all i do these days is go...

What to do about Rangie.. by
Pete M[_3_]
Been offered more than I paid for the Rangie, and discovered it'll not be
allowed into a few of the places I want to go on my cross-Europe mission in
April / May due to not having a catalyst. New German emissions zones in
Berlin / Hannover and a couple of other places..
Also been offered my old '92 Rangie SE back for less than I sold it for,
needs a couple of jobs doing, but has a catalyst...

Citroen ZX Glow Plugs by
Doki
Cross posted to .mods as I know quite a few people on there have had 306s
and the like.
The glow plugs on the ZX seem to have stopped glowing. I've managed to
change the third one, but all the others are behind something else - 1 and 2
are behind the injection pump, and 4 is behind what looks like some sort of
oil breather apparatus. Has anyone got any idea how to get these off? I've
seen...

Decided I don't need it any more, and I can put the proceeds from it to
better use elsewhere.

One for the Audioisti by
Doki
My head unit has stereo preouts for a subwoofer. I'd like to make use of
this rather than using the crossovers on the amp as it lets me alter
settings from the driver's seat rather than by fiddling with an amplifier.
The amp I'm thinking of getting is an Alpine MRV-F407. The manual for it has
instructions how to wire it up for a subwoofer, but using the HPF in the
amp.
The manual is here...
