What should I buy? by
Mike P
I'm looking for something over 3 litres up to about £2500, cheaper the
better obviously. Should be quite good fun, fuel economy not an issue at all
as it's a toy only.
What do you guys reckon I should get.?
Cheers

What does the panel think? by
Mike P
Came across this on ebay, Golf GTi MK2, 8V. Must be one of the last..
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=300201841033&Category=9873&_trksid=p3907.m29
not exactly what I was after, but interesting all the same. I only ever had
one, and it was shagged..

Opinion of the panel? by
Doki
I've just been offered a 406 HDi estate, 2003, with a lot of miles on it, on
the right side of £2k when it comes off the work's books in a couple of
months. How reliable are these things at silly mileages? My experience of
PSA stuff seems to be more small niggles rather than big problems, but small
niggles can be irritating.

Am I missing something here? by
Timo Geusch
Has anybody else noticed that prices for supposedly good used cars
(especially at the borderline banger level) seem to be going up?
I've been looking at adding "sensible" car to my fleet and while
sorting through the usual overdescribed heaps (like a 'mint' 420SEL with
disconnected aircon, blowing exhaust, rust in all four door bottoms and
some odd noise from the engine), I came across two...

Mini Review - Mk3 Clio 1.2 Turbo Dynamique! by
Iridium
Bet none of you have driven one of these before heh!
My friend has just gone out and got herself one of these - I had a go
tonight, bear in mind it had 101 miles on it so I didn't wanna go mental
heh. Pulled well, was amazingly torquey for a 1.2 (obviously the turbo
helps) - the dash and steering wheel were very nice. Also had the little
cornering light things, they were sweeeet. I liked it,...

Having seen this one, I don't care what anyone says, by
Elder
I want one. I see them everyday arround Manchester, some as people
carriers, some as taxis, other working as painters vans.
And I love them.
Seeing the spec in this video, and how a cheap set of springs can make
them handle fairly well, I reckon one would be perfect for server
humping.

OT Jag Softroader? by
Depresion
Dose anyone have any info on a possible Softroader from Jaguar? I saw a
camoed up mid sized 4x4 thing around Ashborne today that had a distinctive
new jag style to it, though the badge looked more ford like, so it could have
been a Kuga.
