Discs & Drums by Nom
"DervMan" wrote in message ... During JOGLE, we Klubbers had an interesting experience. Four of us had to descend a steep 25% hill over two miles, sadly stuck behind an inconsiderate git in a Civic, who wouldn't let us pass, between 10 and 20 mph on the brakes all of the time, even in the straight bits. Kermit has...

Web site for car and wheel possibilities by Chet
And in other news Oliver Haslam is quoted as saying: Is there a web site where I can tell it what my car is, and it will tell me what size wheels I can fit without any problems? With my limited knowledge, am I right in thinking them fitting under the arches isnt the only problem, but rather whether the gearing will be affected? If they don't fit...

Modifiers against aggressive behaviour (MAAB) by Dan405
I've noticed how people driving modified cars tend to be peaceable, kind people, considerate to others and generally a welcome part of civilised society. I'm thinking of setting up an organisation called Modifiers Against Aggressive Behaviour (MAAB). Volunteers would campaign locally against aggressive behaviour, helping all of us move towards a better society!

Modifiers against aggressive behaviour (MAAB) by MeatballTurbo
In article , says... I've noticed how people driving modified cars tend to be peaceable, kind people, considerate to others and generally a welcome part of civilised society. Not what you said when you came in here spouting Vitriol about noisy, agressive obnoxious cars, and their drivers. --

Diesels, EGR, and cack by DervBoy
I had the engine management warning light come on a few times recently in the Astra during urban driving. I guessed from the pattern of it's coming and going that there was a problem with the EGR. I removed the EGR valve and found it was covered in a combination of hard carbon and some softer sludge. I cleaned it thoroughly, so it operates freely again, but was very disturbed by the thick buildup...

I spend 14 months building a 300bhp Saab 900 Aero, my Old Boy decides he fancies a new car and buys......... an Impreza WRX Sports Wagon then has the audacity to ring me at work today and ask what Pro-Drives phone number is.
