OT: That Monitor on Ebay, and the COD issue. by MeatballTurbo
The seller stopped answering my emails, and ignored my MSN messages, including those with suggestions as to how we could sort this. In the end I mailed them and told them the deal was off, and left bad feedback. I didn't like to do it, but I was getting cold shouldered. Shame really, a 12" TFT would have really shown up the GPS data nicely at 800x600. -- Carl Robson

Land Rover Tomcats by Douglas Payne
Today at work I had the luck to happen upon a chap who does Hill Rallying. He showed me a couple of the tomcats he builds and races himself. Unfortunately my digital camera took the opportunity to run out of batteries. I was not impressed. Anyway, since it's late and I've been at work for a considerable length of time today (yesterday) I just thought I'd say how impressed I was at...

Waste of time? by Carl Gibbs
*Hopefully* getting a new engine for the 205 this week. Its a 50k miles 1360 TU lump from an SPi 106. This means i'll have to swap the camshafts to make it go proper like. I was thinking, as the engine will be apart is it worth slipping a new camshaft in (say a 284degree kent cam) to make things more interesting, or will it just make the car run like a complete turd. The other option is a 270...

that skoda has competition by Serge Wizgounoff
Hello MeatballTurbo. 20 Jul 03 14:24, you wrote to me: M BTW, how is the Lada Niva you were tuning? Did you get the emissions M sorted. I think last time we spoke they were too high? I did, I even travelled from Moscow to Finland and back in it. Surprisingly, no problems all the way. But then I got tired of almost daily repairs and sold it. It was 8 years old with about 100k miles on the...

Another Saab Question..Matt? by **-**
"Mike P" wrote in message ... Right. After my shenanigans with a ****ed bleed valve some goon had put on instead of the APC solenoid, I got hold of an APC solenoid, set it up OK. Reset timing, fuel mixture etc etc. Goes like a sort of beast. However APC gauge isn't going up to the red, only about 1/2 way. Turbo is...

grandad motoring by Gav
Hi, not posted on here for a while, lots of new faces! I have been with a mate to look at some cars he might be buying. We drove a 93 E34 535 and a 92 Granada 2.9 V6. Now these are both cracking cars for the money and both felt as sporty as a car with an armchair instead of a seat can feel. Both cars I would not have looked twice at before. The bimmers go down in value as the engine size...
