I expect they got a bumper to go over it, I can see the mounting brackets. even so the amount of **** that would get in there would trash a turbo.. and the car is a RS4/6 if im not mistaken. I think so.

DIY Total Closure for a car by Simon Burrows
Hi all, First of all, apologies for the cross-post! It's gone to some car ngs aswell as electronics ones for both sides of the story :-) I'm just having a little play around with the idea of adding a circuit to my car's stock alarm that will create a total closure system (i.e if windows/sunroof are open they will be closed automatically). erm are you sure you want to weld it to the turbo housing ? do you really mean a dump valve or are you talking about an external wastegate ? if you really do mean dump valve why not to what everyone else does and use a T-piece to put it in the inlet tract ? Well, it doesn't look like I'll be getting that Van Aaken tuning jobby as soon as I'd hoped fx sniffling, tears Noticed the coolant gradually turning a darker blue. There are also small spots of tacky black residue around the water line. I guess these are oily diesel combustion deposits which have entered the cooling system via a dicky head gasket. I did of course check the oil and coolant...
