Induction kit sound question by
Jonathan Walsmley
I have an K&N 57i induction kit fitted to my escort 1.8si. The only
thing is it doesnt seem to make as much noise as the induction kits I
regulary hear on corsas, saxos etc & considering the difference in
engine size I find this a little strange! Is there anything I can
do/havnt done so far to improve noise & performace???
Thanks

OT: phones by
Carl Gibbs
For you techno geeks:
Looking at a new phone, and was hoping some of you may have/know about the
ones i'm interested in. So here goes, whats the difference between a
Motorola V500 and V600, is it just that the 600 can record videos? Also are
they actually any good? How does a Sony Z600 compare to them? Any other
decent phones i could be looking at (except Nokia)?
Cheers

OT? : New car suggestions by
Aaron Anderson
Hi,
I currently have a Nissan Pulsar (Sunny) GTi-R, which I have tuned a little
doing the work mainly by myself. (0-60 in just under 5s)
I am now in need of a larger car which I hope will meet the following,
roughly in order of importance :-
1) Easy to self-maintain and tune.
2) Large enough rear seat for 11-yr old, 6-yr old and baby seat., decent
boot.

Just sorted out a carbon fibre bonnet for meself, not cheap tho as its a one
off!
You'll be flad to hear it doesn't feature a single lump bump or vent :)
Purely for the weight reduction and radar absorbing properties of course ;)

my front brake sqeels by
all at home
When i drive the car and use the brakes, I get a squeely noise from one of
the front brakes,
the shoes are in very good condition, (plenty of lining on it,)
After i have driven the car about a half mile it then stops making the
noise. unless it is very cold weather.
Has anyone got any ideas what might be causing the noise???
