I'm removing the cat from the Chimaera, which required a EPROM change in the ECU. TVR (in their infinite wisdom) have different cat/none cat chips, which is daft as you are supposed to just change the tune resistor to select the correct map. I've officially decided that I hate exhuasts. Both cars are suffering with problems, and both are causing me headaches. The SD1 has a strange raspy/metallic knocking noise (hard to describe) when you hit about 3.5krpm. Anyone got any recommendations for a reasonably priced HVLP spray system? Will shortly have a large wooded garage to spray with preservative and I've bought an Landrover to fix up that will require painting.
