This is so wrong. by Elder
Can you imagine making your final journey in this http://smallr.com/1x4 "I wouldn't be seen dead in it" From the front, it looked a bit puggish, but from the side it just looks wrong. -- Carl Robson Audio stream: http://www.bouncing-czechs.com:8000/samtest Homepage: http://www.bouncing-czechs.com

Help... by Bob Sherunckle
A mate of mine is looking to sell his ex taxi Skoda Octavia 1.9 SDI - the 68bhp one. He has given it what Quentin Willson used to call "cloth of gold maintenance". No expense spared. Would have to be the slowest car ever, and I have an almost overwhelming urge to buy it. Poverty spec and all. He has offered me first shout at auction pricing. Even worse again. I think I've just bought a Midas...

OT: Also very off topic - medical stuff. by Douglas Payne
I'm not very well at the moment, it's not related to cars, but without going into too much detail I'm going to offer my sage words of advice to the group for today: Firstly, if you don't feel well and it goes on for a while, for ****'s sake go and see a doctor, if they tell you to do something, for ****'s sake go and do it. Secondly, if you can donate blood, do that too. If you don't know...

OT: Women. Don't listen to them by Doki
Yesterday I tidied my room, with help from my bird. She moaned about my PC's keyboard being filthy, which it has every right to be, as it's ****ing ancient. So she cleaned it, and now it's ****ed. So today, I'm looking for a new ****ing keyboard, and it seems that there is no such thing as a Microsoft natural keyboard any more, so now I've got either hunt one down or type this week's essays...

MK2 Golf Speakers by Doki
I need some new speakers for my Golf. And they go in the dash, IIRC they're 10cm. Anyone know of any that sound decent and don't cost a ****load? Not really after door pods, they take away useful storage bins and make it obvious that you've got some half decent stereo gear in there.

****e but i wanted it by Vamp
sold a car older than me at work today! it was a 1981 fiesta 1.1 L in typical 80's brown with browny orange seats (mmm nice) and with no headrests (crash protection didn't exist then i guess) it was so clean! not a mark on it i swear it could have left a ford show room today and be sold as new! it only had a genuine 42,000 on the clock and all the MOT's confirm this going way way back...
