Semi-OT: My Dad came over yesterday in his Frontera. by Elder
Plan was for a big meal, night on the ****, and big fry up in the morming. Been the first time we have really gotten together to get mashed since my mum's funeral. Mission accomplished on all counts. I have a lard relieved partial hangover. but I've been thinking about his Frontera. He bought that Frontera after the Diesel Pajero he first bought turned out the be a lemon that wouldn't do...

Ford Ka in 'not so **** as I was expecting', shocker by jackhackettuk@yahoo.co.uk
Well... I've had the joys of the Ka(ck) all week, and I have to say it's actually rather good. The main neg I've found, is the usual the Ka is renowned for - a bit of rust, namely a patch on the drivers side A pillar where it meets the front wing, a patch forming in the nearside rear quarter near the filler flap, and the sump has turned slightly porous, so I have one of these on order as we...

Reversing Sensors by Steve W
I'm planning to get a reversing sensor kit for my 1997 Saab 900 SE convertible. I have a tow bar, so I gather a 4 sensor unit is considered the best option. Anyone got any recommendations for DIY kits? I'm hoping not to have to spend more than £80 to £100. Thanks Steve

Afc-2 problem. by Carjunky via CarKB.com
Does anybody know much about the s-afc 2. Everything on it is working on the unit and it reads the correction %. It doesn't seem to make any difference in my A/F ratio. On the sensor check in-1 reads voltage. in-2 reads next to 0 volts. also the car has a rough idle, a misfire. I am stumped right now so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. -- Message posted via...

New Polo mini-review & oh b**** Zafira by David Lane
The Zafira lost its' fan belt pulley yesterday - my wife phoned me to say "there's a funny noise and there was a bang" - and the battery went flat as I took it to the garage. So ... quick rental car needed (thanks Quidco & ArgusCarHire) - I was supposed to get a Ford Ka but they gave me an upgrade to the new Polo. Thoughts: rubbery and nasty plastic. But for £63 for 3 days I'll take it...
