Buggery ******** by Depresion
Fired up my S3 engine for the first time today only to be showered with oil from the 6000 mile old turbo. It was quite funny as the fountain of oil covered everyone in the garage if a rather expensive laugh. Guess what I'm going to be looking for over the xmass break.

OT: Why are barbers deaf or stupid? by Elder
You go in, you know what you want, you tell them what you want, they start cutting, and before you know it, they are right off and doing what you had last time. Thing is, this is a different barber, infact the 5th different barber. And it always happens. I used to have No3 clippers sides and back. Short on top brushed forward.

Merc CLS minireview... by Tim S Kemp
Looks: Awesome Getting in and out: fiddly goes: like stink Ride: sporty but not harsh Handling: amazing for somthing that size Economy: Probably, but not with my right foot Verdict: Great, but is it really worth spending 7k more than the equivalent E class to lose out on interior space but get them awesome looks? I think so. Shame it's not mine.

You posted a link a while back comparing a Civic Type R (I think) powercurve with another 2.0 16v non Vtec motor showing the low down torque of the Civic was just as good as another motor - it was also loads better at the top. Can you furnish me with this link again please? And if anyone else has any links that sound like they might do the same thing - they'd be gratefully received. ...

http://smallr.com/1va Right colour. Decent bit of ticket Looks like one small split on the drivers squab that could easily be stitched. As long as it goes, stops and lights up at night it might be fun. -- Carl Robson Audio stream: http://www.bouncing-czechs.com:8000/samtest Homepage: http://www.bouncing-czechs.com

I'm tired... by jackhackettuk@yahoo.co.uk
....and so I should be at this hour, not least when one has been all the way oop north to collect ones new toy. Yes, I've been and collected the 216 GTi today, and it's a veritable bargain. Has a full bolt in Safety Devices rollcage including door bars, full harnesses, and the engine is an absolute peach - revs more freely than a standard 216 GTi / CRX (and they're not exactly slow to rev), and...

I think after discussing on the retro-rides forums... by Elder
I have an idea what my next car will be if I can find one in black or very dark grey. A Volvo 740 or 760 Turbo diesel Saloon. Saloon because they are cheaper than the wagons. 740 because they are fairly comfy, bricklike Diesel for economy (and the bio/veg fuel options) Turbo so I can still play with tuning. RWD because I miss it.
