I'd not want an all wheel drive diesel an to be honest, the TTiD is
over the top. The 120 or 150 would be *more* than adequate for my
purposes. It's the Aero specification I'm interested in...

You're beginning to see the light, finally.

This place is getting better by the day. Tim has gone over to Dr
Diesel's dark side, and Dervy is beginning to see the light when it
comes to proper, petrol engines.

There are (were, heh) three 9-3 Sports Saloon Aeros.

There's the 2.0T, uses a 2.0 four cylinder, 210 bhp.

The 2.8T, 2.8 litre V6 turbo, 247 bhp.

And the 1.9 TTiD, 180 bhp twin turbo diesel.

I don't agree with SteveH "the only Saab worth having is the Areo" 'cos I
like the easy going near-diesel power delivery of the low pressure turbo I'm
running, but if I should crash it, the 2.8T would financially ruin me, the
2.0T is kinda like the one I have, so the TTiD is the most... sensible...

behave when going much quicker than adhesion levels ordinarily permit... ;-)
