"Miike G" gurgled happily, sounding much
like they were saying:

In my case, the other driver's insurance. No arguments from them.

Sounds like you need to try a different insurance Co.

That was common across a large number from a comparison site.

You get a better deal by going to the insurance companies direct.
Price Comparison sites are great for identity theft and they only
promote those who pay most to advertise with them. That is why
a number of insurers now refuse to pay the sites and say so on TV.
Your premium does not increase if you are not at fault, your NCB
might be suspended during an investigation but later reinstated.
Not all companies are the same, go with a well known one and you
will not be left with misleading terminology that could be misinterpreted.

I doubt it. IME 'no fault' accidents, paid for by 3rd parties insurance
has no affect on ones premium.

I beg to differ. SWMBO's insurance went up by £28 when we disclosed the
(non-fault) accident I had in 2008- I'm a named driver. Mine also went up.

Maybe my broker only offers me policies from more reputable companies. He
knows I'm not interested in the cheapest. I just don't want any hassle if I
have a claim. Or a penalty for any 'no fault' damage.
Mike.

I'm with a fairly reputable company, as far as Insurance companies go. I
wouldn't imagine Adrian is one to skimp either.

In article ,
says...
Heheh, have you still got some HTC thing? My experience of an HTC touch
and a Parrot BT kit is woeful. Is the bluetooth disabled, or does it
just not work with your phone? (c:

No, a Samsung omnia.
But it isn't that, it is the car. Click on the phone setting option and
it comes back, option unavailable.

Good things, engine not bad, cruise control excellent, handling smooth
but a little soggy, perfect for where it is aimed I guess.

Bad things, handbrake lever is too far back, worse even than with the
Saab 9000 and I have the seat almost all the way back, rear view mirror
is too low down, even with seat at lowest setting, anything around the
passenger side front wing doesn't exist. What's with the stupid need to
have the clutch pressed in to start the engine?

Like on Saabs of the last 10 years or so? Mate's Chrysler Neon was the
same. Stops 'merkins (and UKians too now probably) starting in gear,
leaping forwards and suing the manufacturer for hitting the car in front.

Newest Saab I've driven was an original 9-3 hatch like Dervies old one
and an auto 9-5. Neither of them needed a foot on anything to actually
start it, but the auto did have the park/neutral starter lockout.

I suppose later ones would have the same options as the insignia if
there is any dna between them.

I usually change companies every year or two and use cashback sites to
get back an changes and sometimes get a profit over the previous year
anyway

Do the cashback sites work as they say they do? I joined your two with the
referral links, so you owe me a virtual beer

I've just bagged £50 cashback using Quidco for my new car insurance from AA.
AA came back as the cheapest quote on the comparison sites, so I then signed
up for it through Quidco

The easiest £50 I've even made/saved, and a years free breakdown from the AA
too
