The Toyota Pious Cymru edition.

Is it so bad you swapped it back for the diesel Focus?

Well I did have a rib tickling chuckle when within weeks of someone
taking delivery it turned into a devastatingly outmoded last year's
model cross country missile. The new one looks a bit better, but still
****e compared to the Focus. But it does have a proper engine (1.8L) a
more powerful electric motor, more interior room, bigger boot and a
better electric-only option than last year's car.

It'll still handle like its on castors, ride like its on bricks and be
****e on fuel compared to a proper car. I'd rather have a Kia Ceed thing
than a Pious. You don't look as much of a **** in a Ce'ed, and that's
saying something.

I disagree with the ride. And they're exceptionally quiet too.

And yet I can't think of a more economical petrol auto with room for 5
people and some bags.

Five people? Only if one is on a roof rack - when the mpg goes futz. And
by "bags" I presume you mean "sponge bags" because you're not going to
get five people's luggage into a Pious.

I got better mpg than a mate with a Pious in a Mondeo ST TDCi which did
Portsmouth to the North West and back to Portsmouth on less than a tank
of fuel, averaging 60mpg, the Pious managed 50mpg, had to fill up twice
and I reckon he was still lying through his teeth because he wouldn't
show me receipts.

Oh and the Mondeo did take five people and all their luggage the Pious
took one person. Even a BMW 520d gets better mpg than a Pious. Raising
the fact the Pious uses petrol is a canard, it's as vile as any
diseasel.

Was the mondeo an auto - heh oh yeah, they only recently started doing auto
mondeo diesels, and they suck fuel.

And of course in stop start traffic, the prius will be the winner.

And remember kids, RAID is safe and the UPS never fails, and Cisco routers
never develop intermittent faults, and external hard drives never fail with
only a month's use, and the DNS is reliable and resilient, and the
mailserver is protected from all forms of attack, and the replacement UPS
will be reliable as the first one was an unusual failure.
