guess I'm in for a fisting.
The receipt for the last one was £40 code extraction and £35 for the
fob.

You may just need to re-synch the fob. Normally an easyish job.

Can't understand though why it worked great when I first changed the
battery, then worked when I locked the car an hour later, but not since.

I've emailed the sellers/makers to see what they suggest. It says
instructions supplied, and I think they may be in the glovebox, but, it
has a programming interface on the side.

All original, no mods, except the boot lid is a different colour.
The Aero has to stay. I just need to sort out this alarm.

The Saab mechanics are all good, as checked out at the service/HG work
last week.

Remember, my slightly oil leaky £300 T16 that only ever failed on
handbrake.

Still exists arround rochdale way and I think he only paid a couple of
hundred for it.
