197 Cup - Grip. Internal organ shifting amounts of grip. More grip than
anything ever. Awesome sound, 100-0 in just sub 4 seconds - the brakes were epic (big Brembos all round). Great engine that just begged to be ****ted. Good gearbox. Didn't check for cup holders, dash in the Cup isn't soft touch like the full fat - didn't care. Corsa VXR - less grip, but still loads of it, slightly more roll, fantastic engine (1.6 Turbo) with loads of torque. Felt somehow a little slower than the 197. Styling a bit OTT for me - but the blue is nice. Interior is seats, standard fit Recaros are brilliant. Bluetooth phone syncing thing is the best gadget ever. Ride a bit bouncy and skittish but it was wearing 225/35/18 tyres. Again, awesome sound. Conclusion - preferred the Clio, felt more stable. Corsa more tunable, but a bit crass looks wise. -- Dan Clio V6 |

Sounds like it has inherited 'Blue & Me' from Alfa... so it'll break ;-) Conclusion - preferred the Clio, felt more stable. Corsa more tunable, but a bit crass looks wise. And ugly. And over priced. And the supercharged engine is a bit crap IMHO. Not that powerful and mental thristy. And a Focus ST? What? I can't think of *ANYTHING* I like about them heh! -- Dan Clio V6 |

Wait 'till later in the year and get a Fiat 500 Abarth. 160bhp 1.4 Turbo in something that small will be huge amounts of fun. And they're quite possibly the coolest car on the roads at the moment. -- SteveH 'You're not a real petrolhead unless you've owned an Alfa Romeo' www.italiancar.co.uk - Honda VFR800 - Hongdou GY200 - Alfa 75 TSpark Alfa 156 TSpark - B6 Passat 2.0TDI SE - COSOC KOTL BOTAFOT #87 - BOTAFOF #18 - MRO # - UKRMSBC #7 - Apostle #2 - YTC # |
