I watched the video of Tiff Needel driving the Ford Puma around a

wet
track
again today. He got the car massively sideways (I'd say about the

same
as
he
got the RWD M5). Any ideas on how he managed it? P'raps I need to

get
someone to watch me make the car go sideways to tell me how

sideways
I
am...
Or maybe I need to practice a lot. On an empty runway. :P

Pah, easy peasy. Either the lift off mid corner, brake mid corner

and
yank
the change-direction-handle. Please dont try it unless you know how

to
react to it, or you're in an empty car park!

See my website for photographic evidence

depends what you do with it really. i find yanking the handbrake at 30mph
and sliding sideways on opposite lock towards a crazy photographer in a bush
is most amusing! and in some of those photos i was '*really* sideways in an
FWD car' which is what this post is about, which is why i pointed people
that way.
