Both headlights have failed at the same time - Is it just the bulbsor could it be something else? by jgkgolf@hotmail.com
I have a ford focus estate 02 reg which I bought 2 years ago and has been problem free apart from a number of light bulbs blowing. Now both headlights have gone at the same time , is this just coincidence or could it be something else? I haven't taken them out yet to examine, can you tell if a headlight bulb has blown just by looking at it?

New Vauxhall Insignia! by Rob[_7_]
If you get a chance, have a look at the new Vauxhall Insignia. It's the replacement for the current Vectra and looks like a Mondeo front crossed with an Astra side and BMW back. Very strange styling and no VXR or sport version available, just plain old petrol and diesel engines. Watch out for the many problems with the new Eco-Flex engines. Lower emissions and road tax means poor economy...

Why are Daewoo Lanos' worth so much? by Willy Eckerslyke
Workplace has a couple of 1999 versions of these for sale by sealed tender, so I thought of doing my usual and offering just enough to make a profit by weighing them in for scrap. But, checking eBay and it seems people pay good money for the things. 400-600 quid appears to be the going rate for ones of this age. So what's the secret? Are they not as ****e as they look or are people just...

Autos in run of the mill cars by Doki
Is it me, or are they all ****e? I've never had an issue with an autobox in any of the Jags I've driven, but every time I've been in a car with an average sized engine and an autobox, it's seemed to have a mind of its own - changing down a gear at half throttle etc. and generally making the car unpleasant to drive.
