New Capri by Peter Hill
They have made it into a Wagon, 2 door station wagon that is. Or is it a 2 door Estate (like some Escorts were). Suppose it's a hatchback by today's way of thinking. It most definitely isn't a fastback or liftback like the last one or even the Probe or the Cougar were. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/220956/reborn_capri.html -- Peter Hill

Fiat Stilo by Steve Ray
Guys Apologies if this is the wrong forum to post this into I have a 53 Aircon Fiat Stilo. With this warm weather I've been using the blowers rather than the Aircon but have noticed that the air being pushed out of the blowers is no where near as strong as it used to be when put onto the highest setting. I assume this is a blocked air filter (?) I could well be very wrong, (I'm only a user...

Puncture by Dave Plowman (News)
Had the first one for ages the other day - which scrapped the tyre as it was just above the shoulder on the side wall. No idea what caused it as it was on the inside of the tyre. It went down very rapidly. The tyres were all near new too. I'd bought them mail order and got five - but not used the 5th one as the spare is perfect. So took the wheel and the new tyre to my local place for...

Primer by James[_2_]
In relation to my other thread from a few days ago about painting my bumper. I have primed it with aerosol paint from paint factors, so far with high build primer, rubbed it down and smoothed it up nicely. Showed a few niggles and imperfections that were soon sorted followed by some more high build primer. I've put 2 coats on, just wondering how many is nescearry ? Tommorow I will put the...

Bonnet Flags by her_majestys_secret_service@trashmail.net
Is it legal to have bonnet flags? I mean the proper ones like they have on diplomatic limos and the Queen's car, not the plastic ones. Does anyone know where you can buy proper bonnet flags from? (not the plastic ones) Thanks

What small car to buy for my retirement - confused by Ken
I have owned larger cars, for a long time like the Omega, Scorpio, Volvo S60 and this sort of size. However I need to retire early as I am suffering health issues and will no longer need a car of this size and I will not be going very far. My use will be only as a local runabout - supermarket, friends within 5/6 miles, only a few thousand miles each year and not in the slightest worried...

Clutch, fluid or master cylinder? by R D S
The clutch on our Multipla gets very crunchy after prolonged use and gets to the point where driving becomes a real pain in the arse. The clutch itself is approx 1yr old and the slave cylinder was changed just prior so I wonder if the master cylinder needs changing. That said I wonder if the fluid needs changing as there is *very* jerky feedback from the brakes in the wet and if I understand...

Used Car - AC not working - Garage says not covered by warranty by paulfoel
Bought a car from a Ford dealer last week (it was actually a Fiat). Discovered after a day or two that the AC was not working at all. I phoned them and they said they're 3 month warranty does not cover air con problems and that it is hard luck. My argument is that its not a defect that has arisen, and that it appears the AC never worked when I purchased the car (yes, I know I should have...

BNP man to be shunned in London assembly by St Georges Day April 23rd
The British National Party's sole member of the London Assembly will become a "pariah" as the major parties agree to shun him. As he launched into a victory speech at City Hall early yesterday, other politicians left the stage in protest. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/boris_johnson/1924867/BNP-man-to-be-shunned-in-assembly.html One, two, three Ooooooooooooh! Hi mate, I was just browsing air compressors out of curisity and found http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/58_5174.htm just wondering what you think and if it would conformtable power spray guns and mini ones ? Couldn't see the cfm rating though. Don't worry not shelling out on one, still sticking with aerosoles for this project just wondering.
