Default Spraying help

I have sprayed a metalic grey on a rear bumper to a satisfactory
standard to me ... and it looks good as it is. DO you have to clear
coat it ? or will sun and grime damage it ?

I'm being a lazy git I guess and trying to get out of doing it properly.
