If a chap was to consider planning a complete tour of England, Wales &
Scotland around the coastline, finishing where he started, would there be an online resource which would enable him to calculate, reasonably accurately, distances, times, which would also come up with good places to visit along the way, sort of thingy? Si |

Si Multimap ? These kind of sites, unless they've improved, tend to specialise in the A to B kind of directions though. I suppose a few hundred via points wouldn't be out of the question but it could get annoying if it all went tits up half way through the planning. Si |

Si I'd be looking to get one of the proper programs on your PC, or even better, a laptop that you could take with you - then you could add notes and changes, or even some kind of diary entries as you went. Such stuff can be bought, or you'll be able to torrent it down if you're feeling naughty. There's an MS one, Autoroute, and Infomap Navigator IIRC is another. I'd be looking for the newest version of MS Autoroute, http://www.microsoft.com/uk/homepc/a...e/default.mspx, appears to be 2007, about £50 or I'm sure www.isohunt.com could offer a torrent... -- Dan Clio R27 F1 #65 |

Or if it must be online, Google Maps works well, we made one for a Europe road trip with about 10 way points over 2,600 miles. -- Dan Clio R27 F1 #65 |
