Personally I consider this unacceptable of a car. In my mind I shouldn't expect any component failures in the first 100k and my proton proves it. 140k without a single failure. Does anyone know how the addition of "wynns" engine flush prior to an oil change effects the characteristics of the old engine oil? Is the purpose of engine flush to make the old oil thinner so that it can drain more easily? What are the other advantages? Thanks once again for your comments.

Hi All Have a 1986 Nissan Sunny 1.6 Coupe. with 35,000 miles on (yes 35!!) car is in as new condition, amazing for its age. Am having problems with smell of petrol (fumes) inside the car when going up hills !! Omly happens when going up hills and smell appears to come through air vets.
