Hi, All in the title really. I've just replaced the top hose and all _seems_ OK but I can't help wondering if there is something I should do to make sure all the air is out of the cooling system. The heater works, and the radiator fan kicks in at the appropriate time and the temperature gauge reads about right. Should I do anything else? It's a 1997 Engine, code DHA.

The brakes have good shoes and disk pads, disks and drums in good condition, no leaks, no frozen wheel cylinders. The alarm on my Peugeot 807 is unreliable as it sounds for no apparent reason. Hi, a year or so ago the water pump etc belt tensioner bearings went kaput on my Astra Mk3. Lots of squealing and funny burny rubbery smells. I bought a new tensioner and belt, fitted the tensioner, but realised you can't change the belt without removing an engine mounting.
