What happens when a year is reached where that number has already
occurred? Do they just continue or come up with a new system? The old
system they used to change it so you had AAA NNN A and then after 25
odd years and all letters of the alphabet available had been used they
went to A NNN AAA and reversed it. Would they do something similar?

Will take quite a few years yet as sequence goes:
10, 60, 11, 61, 12, 62................20, 70, 21, 71, 22,
72......................30, 80 31, 81, 32, 82..........40, 90, 41, 91, 52,
92

SO still another 40 years available!!
