Default Peugeot 206 petrol lost electrics non start

Peugeot 206 "X" reg about 1400cc petrol lost electrics. ie non start no
spark. No headlights, most dash ign on light's
no electric windows ,no central locking or wipers. OBD2 connection message
unable to comunicate!!.

I have found if I tap the fuse box/BSI unit area quite hard things start to
work then stop.
A Peugeot mechanic had a look and said it is the BSI unit, So I sent this
off to a special place that repairs
BSI units, They have just rang me to say nothing wrong with the BSI unit.
So Looks like fuse box area or wiring,!!

Can anyone come up with any ideas
thanks in advance
Ps I am a ex mechanic but 10yrs out the trade but FORD trained not Peugeot

There is a problem with the remote key which will cause such problems
which I think has something to do with the isolation circuit - maybe new
battery in the remote will help.

Far more likely to be a dodgy connection in the fuse box
