I'm pretty sure that I've seen somebody in this NG mention about getting
custom springs made, so does anybody have any suggestions?

thanks

waves

May have been me?

I am currently in contact with these people

http://www.springcoil.co.uk/

and they: (no connection etc)

1) Responded quickly to my email(s).

2) Quoted reasonable prices for just one pair of springs.

3) Seem to understand the situation (requesting my existing springs to
measure as a starting point and confirming spring rate / wire sizes /
coil diameters / no of turns etc). Offered what they understood to be
the specs for std springs for my donor vehicle.

4) Quote reasonable supply times (so potentially are neither inundated
nor idle).

Not had any work done yet as I was hoping to confirm my thoughts /
dimensions whilst at the KitCar show today (but forgot my verniers)
;-(

All the best ..

There used to be a blacksmith in Filey which made them but that was
years ago.

Many of the performance suspension kit companies will do one offs. Gaz
do.

Rally springs in sheffield IIRC. Not used them, but I know they exist. And
they're in sheffield. Steel etc.

Brost Forge are specialists in this; they do a lot of classic car
springs.
